Down on one knee (so I can reach you)
“Baby girl, will you be my Valentine?”
I’ll take that loud purr as a yes!
‘We’ll have treats for dinner
And playtime for desert.”
She gazes at me with her big, adoring eyes,
And I fall in love all over again.

This micro-poem has been written for the Vocal Challenge ‘Love in 50 Words’.
My baby girl, Grizabella, is the only one I want to spend Valentine’s Day with, hence her proposal. I’m happy to say, she said yes 😊

Awww Grizabella, such a cutie! So happy she said yes hehehehe. But I gotta say, your first two lines made me think of a pedophile 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aww, this is so sweet and playful! The concept of proposing to your cat is absolutely charming, and I love how it captures that adorable bond you two share. Plus, who wouldn’t fall in love with a cat's gaze?
Cute & clever! Nice work Colleen! 💕
Loved this! And that sounded like a definite yes!
Ooooh. That is so sweet. Give Grizzy a hug for me.
