A world set on fire
By gilded desire
A covetous breath
You spent so much time taking away my freedom
You forgot to live
Your greed is destroying us all
Did you learn nothing from your book?
The worship of money and man
Is what makes all fall

Ooo, now I want to know whose book it is. A lot of this sounds like it's addressed to the orange one, only on a much more personal level.
great slam
My favorite thing about this poem is it could be about someone so very specific or it could be about so many toxic relationships. It could be about the entire world or just the world of two people. Great fantastic job
