The Pride Disco

Pride

The Pride Disco

This disco hum comes bellowing out

Beyond the speakers

Shirtless in its form

I am dancing with neon lights

This entwining of souls

This pulsating of bodies

Rather has me in its sight

Enraptured with each shifting tune

And as the colours bleed into one

The haze that befalls me

And as my hips move side to side

The disco lights catch my eyes

And as I close my eyes

I embrace the feeling of euphoria

Darkness no longer shrouds me

Despite the dim lights

I encapsulate with each move

And as I hit the beat with pride

My rainbow aura touches others

The groove transports me to new heights

This is a celebration of our unity

Colossal in its plight

Colour knows no bounds

As we dance intertwined
