The Price of Silence

Silence can be deafening.

Silence is virtue, but not always, if the right to speak was taken away, the world would be an awfully quiet place.

Initiate the hate; the world seems to love it more than anything else, fueling its dark fire.

Love, when spoken and carried on the cold breeze of dawn, to the right ears, conquers all.

Envy, with its shade of jade green, seeks only despair, like the serpent's eyes leading Eve astray from paradise.

Nukes, the weapons of choice for fools, wielded by those who deserve a place in the basement of hell—a scourge the world can do without.

Christmas, a word once full of promise, now marred by a child born dead.

Enemies, real or imagined, are always sought by the powerful, even when none exist.
