for the desire from another to discover what I hide
My words and my actions, conditioned to lie
Self-preservation, learned quickly as a child
But my soul is exposed in the words that I write
Journals, poems, and playlists-just open your eyes
Scraps of paper, scattered truths, hidden in plain sight
