Never's End

mourning the end of what never even was

By GypstinaPublished 5 years ago β€’ 1 min read

The one i'll never fully get over, no matter how much time goes by

Is the one that I lost that was never actually mine

How can you lose something that you never had?

How can you end something that never began?

A special kind of torture, never able to find closure

All the could haves, the what ifs, the unknowns will linger

One big question remains, forever waiting for an answer

What hurts the most is the death of all hope

So much time put in, coming so damn close

... left eternally haunted by the Ghost of Almost....

sad poetry
