The prelude to spring.

It began, in the breaking of winter,

Before the rays of dawn arose in the hearts of many,

As spring was a hopeful prospect on the horizon.

The relentless assault of the blizzard scorn began to fade,

While the lilies began the first rounds of blooming.

Cheer and love, joy and hope,

A constant outpouring of blessing,

Of constant sound of laughter in the middle of good company,

Of fellowship rejoicing through victory over the desolation of cold.

Neither the rumors of plague, nor the whispers of affliction,

As health seemed to abound, all the more.

Where the first seeds of love were scattered in the earth of unsuspecting hearts,

Ever waiting for the first drops of spring rain to bring forth the treasures of the earth.

A time of peace, of hope, of love.

The first moments, of spring.
