The Prankster's Pie: A Lesson Learned

A cautionary tale for mischievous jokers

By Story TellerPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

There was a young lad from the city

Whose sense of humor was quite witty

He'd tell jokes and tales all day

And his friends would laugh in every way

But one day he had a prank to play

He didn't think it would go astray

He set up a trap with a pie

And waited for his friend to come by

His friend arrived with a smile so wide

He didn't suspect anything inside

He took a bite of the pie with glee

And suddenly, he couldn't see

The young lad thought it was all in fun

But his friend's reaction was anything but fun

He stumbled around and bumped into things

And his laughter turned into pained screams

The young lad realized his mistake

He should have thought it through before he baked

He rushed his friend to the doctor with care

And promised to never pull such a prank again, he'd swear

From that day on, the young lad learned

That sometimes, pranks can take a nasty turn

He'd still tell jokes and tales all day

But he'd never risk hurting his friends in any way.
