THE POPPIES LOOK SO PRETTY

IN THE FIELDS SO FAR AWAY

TODAY THE SOLDIERS

WALK AMONGST THEM

AS THEY FIGHT THEIR ENEMY

IN AMERICA WE FIGHT EACH DAY

TO KEEP OUR PEOPLE SAFE

NOT KNOWING ALL ALONG

THE POPPIES IN THE KILLING FIELDS

HAVE MADE THEIR WAY

TO KILL THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HERE

WITH EVERY LAST BREATH THEY TAKE

THIS LUNACY MUST STOP

WE ALL DESERVE A CHANCE

FOR LIFE SO PURE AND GOOD

WITH LASTING BROTHERHOOD

MAKE EACH DAY COUNT

TO STAMP IT OUT

WE HAVE TO MAKE IT END

THE WARS THE GRIEF

THE DISBELIEF

OF EACH AND EVERY MAN
