The Poison Apple
In a garden lush with blooms so bright,
A secret lies beneath the light.
Among the petals soft and sweet,
Lurks a danger none can greet.
The apple, masked in colors bold,
Its glossy skin a story told—
Of promises wrapped in fragrant hues,
Of love that tempts, yet may confuse.
The roses whisper in the breeze,
The lilies bend with gentle ease,
But in the shadow of their grace,
A darker truth begins to trace.
With every touch, a silent sting,
A hidden curse within its ring.
For what is sweet can turn to cold,
And what is pure can soon unfold.
The poison apple, deep and red,
By flowers’ guise, the heart is led.
Yet those who seek will find the cost—
That beauty’s mask may soon be lost.
So beware the charm of petals fair,
For what they hide is more than air—
A temptation wrapped in bloom,
A love that leads to bitter doom.
