The Planner and I

this year

By Annette MedleyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I love planners.

Always have.

They represent a life filled with adventures, appointments, travels, people to meet, things to do and successes to celebrate.

Purpose.

A reason to be.

Justification for existing at all.

An empty planner is a sad testimony indeed.

Maybe.

I toggle between the clean, no frill lines of laser focused minimalistic design and the artistry of hand drawn embellishments.

Ok, fine. I couldn't draw a straight or crooked line if I tried... but I do love the way art illustrates emotion.

Magazine cut outs of beauty, serenity, happiness, will do just fine.

I am inspired by pages filled with colors, visions, vibrant splashes of life.

I can feel the excitement, the passion, the hope.

This year.

This year will be the one.

The one where I will be true to myself.

And then twelve months pass and this year turns into last year.

Focus.

That's the key!

Not visualizing or fancy day dreaming ....but focus!

Just do it, get it done, more motivational stickers than a simple book can hold.

Breaking down my life's goals into bite size pieces.

Actionable steps.

Achieve.

I love planners.

This year will be the one.

The one where I will just simply enjoy filling pages with me.

A well-planned schedule is the key to success, efficiency and organization. If you want to become a true master of your time, you need to find the perfect schedule planner https://bordio.com/schedule-planner/! Choose a planner that fits your lifestyle. If you like to carry a notebook around with you, a traditional paper planner may be right for you. If you prefer electronic devices, however, look into scheduling apps. When choosing a planner, pay attention to its functionality. Some planners provide additional features such as reminders, color codes, calendar linking, or even prioritization features.
