This is for Mikeydred's March Prompt.

March is the time to think about fate, and how we try our best to be the master of ours.

Some things are just beyond our control, so we must go with the flow. - Michelle Liew

New shapes formed, each one a masterpiece

Stone listened to his every whim

No errors, no revisions,

Timeless art without flaws

Chisel never breaks

Lines never blurred

On he carved

Error

Gone.

************************************************************

His fingers sculpt, chisel forms anew,

Stone shifts, pushes back, then gives way

Cracks appear, then he reshapes

Not all lines are thought through

Some stone collapses

From the debris

He now forms

Firm shapes

New.

Well-wrought! Sculpture might be considered the highest art in that stone is an unforgiving medium and must be handled with the greatest care! No backspace, no erase, no delete!

This is such a unique perspective and way to explore fate. Brilliantly done, Michelle. Sometimes what feels like a mistake in the process is really just an unexpected step.
