The perfect game.

It was just a moment ago

By OmarPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
Those evenings on Long Island.

This last week has been an interesting one for me. As I've been writing, I've been remembering and reading; dates and dinners and shows, the movies we'd watch and the music and the art we'd share. Every now and then, I'll share a memory or two.

So I’m sitting behind you, maybe 10 feet away or so, you’re wearing my shirt, tied at the waist, and your jeans fit you just right.

As I’m thinking to myself how perfect my girl is, you happen to throw the most awful gutter ball, I’m surprised it didn’t end up in the next lane!

You turn around and look at me with that pretty smile, and all I can do is melt, it's true, you are perfect.

Morning sweetheart. ❤️🧿
