The Paths We Walk

we all walk a path,

our path, our chosen path,

not your path, not their path,

our path,

walk it with regard,

walk it with integrity,

walk it with a strong stride,

focused on the choices which guide you,

beware as you step,

the paths are many,

turns can be taken,

obstacles to avoid, rather than to breach,

knowing in your journey,

the number of paths doesn’t matter,

right or wrong,

you choose which to travel,

knowing they all lead to the “T”,

at the end,

all your choices brought you here,

choice is gone, it’s now automatic,

left turn, right turn,

realizing,

this final turn is eternal.
