Entranced by fate,

A young woman sleeps.

Her parents berate

While helpless she weeps.

A power so touching,

Its words are sincere,

But for her, no helping,

As demons live near.

The world wipes her tears

And fills her with pride.

No matter her fears,

War bubbles inside.

The parents' wrath

Debilitates weak.

Courage she hath

Meant to seek.
