Hello, Luna Moon - how are you...I know that you are up there
Secretly watching...hiding in the Ink-black sky
You Cast moonbeams as Night begins...
softly... stars lean in...eavesdropping
πππ
They squint... a certain brilliance
Caught in their rhythmic motions
They Crescendo...and Bow.
πππ
Waxing gibbous, bold
Luminous. Luna Moon sleeps*content
As Silver clouds unfurl
πππ
The night creatures watch...
The owls, foxes, fireflies...curious.
They know you...so they sleep...and dream.
πππ
Full moon, unabashed, awakens...appears
Casting shadows on ancient stones.
Forests hold their breaths
πππ
With Bittersweet farewell. We needs go to sleep
Heart slows, reluctant to leave. Sleep steals us away.
Yet you watch over us...knowing the dawn awaits.
πππ
Curtsy, dear Luna...take your leave
Tomorrow, encore awaits...
Your return infinitely written in sky and cloud
πππππ
Owls and mortals watch...
our hearts elated,
As you resume your duty of eternal dream-like nights.
So hereβs to you, Luna...the moonβs silver muse.
May your midnight trek continue, ageless and bright.
And as you pirouette through the cosmic blues,
Know that our souls journey with you, enchanted by your light.

Adieu Luna Moon
Your ever grateful scrivener...Thank you.

The imagery in this poem is beautiful, and you have established a wonderful rhythm here as well. Nicely done.
I could see the words as a visual picture. Good work.
βsoftly... stars lean in...eavesdroppingβ is just one of the many beautiful images in this poem. Well done π₯°
A beautifully lyrical ode, Antoni. The imagery of Luna pirouetting through βcosmic bluesβ and watched by owls and mortals alike feels timeless and magical.
