The Oven’s on fire🔥
Men should stick to watching football

The Oven’s on fire.🔥
He fights through the smoke,
With each heavy breath.
Wishing for silence,
Facing the threat.
The alarm goes off,
A sound loud and clear.
What started as dinner,
Now fills him with fear.
“Will I get through this?
Could it all go so wrong?
A simple surprise
That didn’t last long.”
He opens a window,
Hoping for air,
Feeling the pressure,
Overcome by despair.
Footsteps draw closer,
His heart starts to race.
What will she think
When she sees this place?
She steps in the kitchen,
Eyes wide with fright,
Taking in chaos,
A terrible sight.
Disaster unfolds,
No comfort in view,
What once was a meal
Now nothing to chew.
The lesson is clear,
He knows it’s a fact:
Men shouldn’t cook—
Let her do it from now on,
No more to say
and that is that. 🔥

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

I totally disagree. I'm decent in the kitchen. But I enjoyed your poem! ⚡💙⚡
Lol, this is soooo me! This is what would happen if I cook
Ok this 👍⭐️
Men shouldn’t cook THAT IS CORRECT
Just downright bad luck for him. Actually, kind of a funny poem to read.
