The Outsiders Song
Finding Strength in the Silence of Being Unseen

I was born into a world where hearts are cold,
A family in name, but distant and bold.
The love I craved, I never found,
In their silence, I stood unbound.
They followed paths so straight and clear,
While I wandered roads far from here.
I danced alone in fields of light,
While they shunned my different sight.
My song was strange, my rhythm wild,
A tune too fierce for the family child.
But I sang on, despite their gaze,
Through shadowed looks and hollow praise.
“You’re not like us,” their whispers said,
And in those words, I felt the dread.
Yet still, I twirled, in my own way,
A rebel soul, born to sway.
The love they spoke of, never true,
Wasn’t meant for souls like me or you.
For in their eyes, I didn’t fit,
And in my heart, I felt the split.
A black sheep in a field of gray,
I walked the line they couldn’t sway.
I sought no home in their embrace,
For mine was in a deeper place.
They cast their stones, they built their walls,
But I grew tall despite their falls.
In every wound, a seed was sown,
Of a life lived fully on my own.
I stood apart, but never bowed,
My spirit fierce, my head unbowed.
Though loneliness became my friend,
I’d not let their coldness bend.
For I am more than their small sight,
A burning flame, a blinding light.
I live for me, for none but I,
Beneath a broader, wilder sky.
They never saw the worth I bear,
Nor did they try, nor did they care.
But love is not for them to give—
It’s in my bones, it’s how I live.
I will not mold to fit their box,
I’ll break their chains, I’ll break their locks.
I’ll wear my scars with pride untold,
A heart that dares to be so bold.
In silence, I grew strong and free,
Their absence shaped the soul of me.
And though they never turned my way,
I learned to love in my own sway.
The echoes of their taunts may sound,
But in my chest, my heart still pounds.
I beat a drum they’ll never hear,
And I don’t need their shallow cheer.
They look at me as if I’m wrong,
But I’ve been singing my own song.
And every note that fills the air
Is proof that I am truly rare.
I may not fit their narrow dream,
But life’s much more than it may seem.
In colors bright and shadows deep,
I find the strength I choose to keep.
Their world was never built for me,
And that’s the truth I came to see.
I’ll never be who they demand,
I walk my path on untamed land.
I do not need their hollow grace,
I find my peace in my own space.
For every tear and every scar
Is part of who I truly are.
The beauty in my wild soul
Is something they’ll never control.
I dance to rhythms all my own,
A queen who walks without a throne.
Their whispers fade into the breeze,
As I embrace the world with ease.
The flowers bloom where I stand tall,
I never needed them at all.
For I am love, I am the light,
That shines through even darkest night.
Though they may turn their eyes away,
I find my strength in every day.
I rise above their petty shame,
Unshackled by their need for blame.
They’ll never break the soul I’ve grown,
I am enough, I stand alone.
And though they never gave me care,
I found my peace, I found it there—
Within myself, where love runs deep,
A love that’s mine alone to keep.
I walk the road of those before,
The dreamers who’ve been shown the door.
But still we thrive, and still we sing,
For we are queens, and we are kings.
Let them stay in worlds so small,
I’ve learned to rise, I’ve learned to fall.
My heart beats strong, my spirit free,
And I’ll forever dance to me.
The world is wide, the sky is vast,
And I am done with looking past
The brilliance of the soul I own,
I am the seed that I have sown.
For every wound has made me whole,
Their absence carved a deeper role.
I’ve built a life that’s mine to lead,
A heart unbroken, a soul freed.
I’ll never seek what they can’t give,
For in this life, I choose to live.
A rebel heart that’s wild and free,
And loved by none but truly me.
So let them watch from far away,
While I embrace each shining day.
I am the storm, the sun, the sea—
And I’m enough, just being me.
