"The Orphan's Lament"

"A Symphony of Sorrow in the Silence of War"

By Aranna Hasan Delwar Published 2 years ago 1 min read

In shadows cast by war's cruel embrace,

A lonely child, lost in sorrow's space.

Tears like rain, his soft cries unfold,

Echoes of innocence, in a tale untold.

Orphaned whispers in the silent night,

A heartache deep, a fading light.

Grieving for parents, torn away,

In the cruel dance of war's ballet.

Tiny hands reach for absent embrace,

Longing for love in that desolate place.

Echoes of laughter, now swallowed by pain,

In the wreckage of a world gone insane.

Through shattered dreams, he finds his way,

A lonely child in the cold, gray day.

Yet in his eyes, resilience blooms,

A fragile hope in the war's cruel gloom.

A symphony of sorrow, a poignant song,

A lonely child, where he doesn't belong.

In the echoes of loss, a lullaby weeps,

As war's harsh grip in innocence reaps.
