The Orange Tree
In the garden stands a tree,
Branches sway, wild and free.
Leaves are green, dancing bright,
A lovely sight, pure delight.
When spring comes, buds bloom,
Tiny flowers, sweet perfume.
The sun shines, fruit appears,
Bright oranges bring us cheers.
They hang like little suns,
Ready for picking, oh what fun!
Juicy and sweet, a tasty treat,
Fresh from the tree, can’t be beat.
Here’s to the tree, tall and proud,
In its shade, I laugh aloud.
Each fruit it gives brings us glee,
Nature’s gift, the orange tree!
