The only way I’ll choose you

The only way I’ll choose you

You could break my heart a hundred times—

and I'd still come back,

still whisper your name

like it’s sacred.

You could make me feel small,

invisible,

and I’d still run to you

with the best parts of my day,

hoping you'd care.

You could stare at someone else,

and I’d still pray

you see me

the way I see you.

But—

wait.

Enough.

Why am I feeding myself

these pretty lies?

Are you really that bold—

to think I’d keep choosing you

if you made me feel

less than enough?

No.

I’ll choose you

when you treat me like a queen.

I’ll choose you

when you stop hiding your heart

and wear your love

like it’s mine to trust.
