You don't like to fall in love

I don't like to drink too much

Unless it's my idea

You don't like to give yourself too much,

because you've always got the fear

Still I'll go to bed tonight

Just wishing you were here,

You don't like to fall in love

Unless it's your idea

Thinking about you

Everywhere I go

Thinking about you

On my walk home,

and maybe it's really it for now

Still loving you

The only way I know how

I don't like to think too much,

but you love bad ideas

I don't like to give myself too much,

but with you I'm not so scared

Still I'll lay in bed tonight

Just wishing you were there

I'm so glad I fell in love

I didn't think you'd care

Thinking about you

Everywhere I go

Thinking about you

On my walk home,

and maybe it's really it for now

Still loving you

The only way I know how

love poems
