The Ocean Inside

Songs of waves, and truths they hide

By Emma Published 5 months ago 1 min read

Beneath the waves where secrets lie,

The heart learns truths it can’t deny.

The tide may rise, the storm may call,

Yet through the chaos—we stand tall.

The ocean whispers soft and deep,

It guards the dreams we dare to keep.

Though tempests rage and currents turn,

The soul still finds the will to learn.

Each scar becomes a map of pain,

But also proof of what remains.

For broken shells still shine with light,

They glimmer soft in darkest night.

And when the waters calm once more,

We walk reborn upon the shore.

The past may echo, wild and wide,

Yet healing flows with every tide.

So trust the waves, their rise, their fall,

They carve the truth inside us all.

For in the ocean, vast and free,

We find the strength of who we’ll be.
