When Shadows Learn to Sing

A poetic reflection on pain, hope, and the silent strength within

By Emma Published 5 months ago 1 min read

In nights so cold where sorrows stay,

The heart still seeks a brighter day.

Through cracks of stone, a flower grows,

Defying all the weight it knows.

The tears may fall, the wounds may speak,

Yet strength is born when we feel weak.

For every loss, a truth is found,

That broken souls can still resound.

The shadow whispers, “You’re not done,

The darkest fight brings forth the sun.”

And though the road feels far and long,

The weary heart rediscovers song.

Hope is not loud, it walks in grace,

It shines through scars we can’t erase.

It teaches us: though night is deep,

The dawn will rise, the soul will keep.

So let your silence turn to flame,

And light the path you dare to claim.

For even shadows learn to sing,

When carried by love’s gentle wing.
