As I peer through the darkness

I can hear the nightingales sing a melody

A song of love and destiny

As dawn appears in the sky’s vastness

And soft hues of orange, ruby, and blue

Color the heavens true

As the sun rises on the horizon

Shining in all its brilliance

And the nightingales announce

That a new day has begun

I can hear the Earth slowly awakening

As the birds celebrate the amazing sighting

I watch all the beauty of Nature unfolding

The soil and trees becoming emerald greenery

In all their magnificent glory

The oceans shining like precious jewelry

And the stars that glitter like diamonds in the night

Complimenting the Kohinoor Moon

As they disappear in the lights of the day

And the cold queen also fades away

Leaving place to the blazing, powerful Sun

I am in awe of all these wonders

Existing since the times have begun

I feel so small and insignificant

And it makes me ponder

If my presence is important

Yet, I keep reminding myself firmly

That the Power that created all this beauty

Also made me

And that makes me realize that I also matter

I bring to this world something no one else can

I make a difference in the lives of those around me

I realized that I could never be other than me

And that being me is good enough

It is more than enough

It is what I need to be

For there is no one else than I can be

As I was always meant to be me
