That gave me goosepimples! I love that you've done some shout outs with it as well 😀

A Haiku of dark and destructive forces. The name of Abaddon raises the hairs on the back of my neck alone. Well done, Caitlin!

Your minimalist approach leaves space for deep reflection. Each line feels hauntingly deliberate, showing how few words can carry immense weight and atmosphere.

Chilling haiku Caitlin, thanks for the shoutout, appreciated. I too have read a few, more to read. Lovely writers all.

This is so chillllling Caitlin, you're so great at putting pain and destruction into a haiku, small as it is. Now I feel like dust, hopefully he stays away from me D:

Caitlin, you packed so much in those seventeen syllables. Wow! Thank you for the recognition and your support. I’ll fill my tub with oils and salts for you anytime (and light the candles and incense).

Caitlin, this is bloody brilliant. That hmph made me laugh a little. I'm not sure if that was the point but it made me smile. Loved how much you said in so few words

I love the contrast here. Abaddon's grand, dismissive pronouncement reduced to something so simple and true. That little "hmph" adds such perfect character. You've captured cosmic disdain in just a few words, and there's something darkly funny about it too. Really effective use of brevity!

If I happen to awake seeing that appear I hope I am going to heaven and not somewhere else. Good job.

  • Hey, Caitlin, thanks so much for the shout out! And you managed to get me to make sure that I keep my bedside clean! "Fleeting motes of dust...." I can imagine the swiriling...and forming. Visceral!

Feels like a full horror story in three lines. 💀

  • Oooo, that last line made me shiver! I loved it!
