Where the Sands Shift and the Sun Blazes

The desert spreads wide, with its barren land,

A place of mystique, that's hard to understand,

The sands shift, with the gentle breeze,

A sight so mesmerizing, it's hard to appease.

The mystique of the desert, a world so dry,

A place of intrigue, that's hard to deny,

The sun blazes, in the cloudless sky,

A sight so scorching, it's hard to imply.

The desert is alive, with all its creatures,

From the smallest critters, to the largest features,

The snakes slither, in the scorching sand,

A sight so dangerous, it's hard to withstand.

The mystique of the desert, a place of dreams,

A place to wander, and to hear the screams,

The cacti bloom, in their prickly form,

A sight so unique, it's hard to conform.

The desert is a world, so full of life,

A place to discover, and to forget the strife,

The dunes roll, in their sandy delight,

A sight so enchanting, it's hard to take flight.

The mystique of the desert, a world so vast,

A place of wonder, that's hard to outlast,

The stars twinkle, in the pitch-black sky,

A place of beauty, that's hard to deny.
