The mysteries of the ancient world endure

ancient world endure

By G FraustPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

"The mysteries of the ancient world,

They endure throughout the ages.

For though time may pass and civilizations rise and fall,

Their secrets remain hidden, waiting to be uncovered.

"The pyramids of Egypt, a towering wonder,

A reminder of the ingenuity of the past.

Their purpose and construction still a mystery,

A puzzle waiting to be solved.

"The lost city of Atlantis, a legend of the sea,

A fabled land of unimaginable wealth.

Its existence remains unproven, yet we search,

For the truth that lies beneath the waves.

"The ancient ruins of Machu Picchu,

A testament to the ingenuity of the Inca.

Their purpose and significance still debated,

A mystery waiting to be unraveled.

"The mysteries of the ancient world,

They endure, a reminder of the past.

Their secrets beckon us, daring us to discover,

The hidden truths of our history."

"The Sphinx of Giza, a majestic beast,

A symbol of the mysteries of the past.

Its secrets and origins still unknown,

A puzzle waiting to be solved.

"The Moai statues of Easter Island,

A testament to the ingenuity of the Rapa Nui.

Their purpose and significance still debated,

A mystery waiting to be unraveled.

"The ancient city of Pompeii,

A reminder of the power of nature.

Its destruction and preservation a mystery,

A tale waiting to be told.

"The mysteries of the ancient world,

They endure, a reminder of our past.

Their secrets beckon us, daring us to explore,

The hidden wonders of our history."
