The Moonlight's Spell

poet

By ansam yousryPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

The moon, a celestial body so bright,

Illuminates the night with its gentle light.

It rises in the sky, so round and fair,

With a silver glow that’s beyond compare.

It casts its spell on all below,

Bringing peace and calm where’e'er it goes.

The tides, they rise and fall with its sway,

Guided by its grace in a rhythmic way.

It's a symbol of mystery, power, and might,

Inspiring poets, artists, and lovers alike.

With its craters and valleys, so rough and bare,

It tells a story of time, without a care.

It's a beacon of hope, on the darkest night,

Guiding us safely with its gentle light.

A companion to the stars, so far away,

It twinkles and shines, in a celestial display.

So let us gaze upon the moon, with wonder and awe,

And be grateful for its beauty, that we can all recall.

For it is a wondrous gift, from the heavens above,

A shining light, that we should cherish and love.
