The Moon

The moon by Kristine Hammond

By Rebecca K Published 5 years ago 1 min read

Who looks back at you at all hours of the night

When the world has gone dark and leave you alone

And you can’t seem to find your inner light?

Who reminds you that it is alright to rest

When the world pushes and pulls at you

when you stumble and struggle to give it your best?

Whether it is full, dark or blood red

In a world full of lies, hate, and uncertainties

It is the one constant as you lay down in bed…

Whether you are here or there

It will never let you down

It will show face to say it will always care
