I need someone who knows

How to forgive and accept flaws

I need someone that's ride to die

And who will always answer my calls

I need someone to share secrets with

And who isn't afraid to show his emotions

I need someone willing to grow with me

And who'll explore life not just land or oceans

These are just a few things

Important things on the list

List of what I desire in a man

You - Mr Right - all I ever wished

I need him to keep it 100%

Process with me - if needed help me understand

I need kindness, fun and laughter

who has a positive outlook and will hold my hand

I need him to be firm, strong and protective

And accepting that I am still fragile at times

I need him to be open minded and aware

able to embrace me and the love offered in this rhyme

I need him to have faith

And sometimes remind me that I too am loved by our God above

These are just a few things

A list of things that I have found

Found them to be in a man- I think I just got my wish

So now I need to remind him everyday

How much he's appreciated and loved

I need him to feel

My hand in his- how it fits like a glove

I need him to know

As he stands tall

That I got his back

And will catch him should he fall

I need him to know

I'm a fighter and I'm here to stay

That I am ride to die like him

So trust my heart will never stray

I hope he will notice things

No matter big or small

No matter how often I make mistakes

He'll see I don't give up at all

I hope he will know

That I see him...my Mr Jones

And that I hear him

His voice his touch his gaze...my Mr Jones.

This is the first of many birthdays

Sharing our lives together

Exploring our love for each other in all ways

I need him to know

Im willing to be his one and only for always

And I hope he feels my unconditional love
