The Moment
From Highs to Lows, and the Magic in All
After a day of peace and serving up,
believing in all that is filling my cup,
captivated is my soul as I just
dream for all the magic beyond.
Excited for class to begin,
finally sitting, writing, what I feel within,
going with this type of energy
helps me to continuously go on.
Igniting my heart,
just with a smirk to start,
knowing that there is so much
love that I want to share.
Maybe it is in the unknown,
nothing making me feel alone,
overjoyed with emotion inside,
potential as for each other we care.
Questioning the cue,
responding to how our bodies do,
simply letting go and moving
the class makes the heart beat more.
Ultimately, getting deeper and deeper,
very peaceful, clearer and clearer,
we embrace this feeling of
'X' marking the spot as we explore.
You are ready when you go.

Christmas Tree
Christmas tree curbside done with living room season waiting for trash truck. I don't even put a Christmas tree in the living room. But when I see the trees on the curb, near the trash bin, waiting for pickup, it makes me sad. Maybe I see a metaphor in it, the way it is discarded when the season is over.
