The Minotaur

The untamed beast

By Mark Stigers Published about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

On my mother a curse was raised,

and I was born half bull half man

I will devour anyone in my maze.

Against me, how will you stand.

I have the head of a bull,

yet the body of a man

The animal is the side that rules,

the horror that I am

There is no way to appease me.

I will destroy you.

While you wonder my maze where I be,

your demise I will do.

The wildness am I.

This is no silly game.

No matter what you try,

me, you’ll never tame.

To me you will submit,

as with you I deal.

My rage you will get.

My wrath you’ll feel.

If by fate it be decreed,

and in my labyrinth you should come.

Then prepared you should be,

For monstrous things to be done.
