The millipedes who killed the spider.
A fight for life in a tangled web

The millipedes who killed the spider.
The millipedes who stole a web
Spun on branches high and spread
Quiet steps through threads they broke
A web now tangled, spun, and soaked
The spider’s work in silken thread
Caught in loops, its fate was fed
Eight legs trapped in the deadly snare
The millipedes crept unaware
They gnawed and twisted, slow, intent
The spider fought, its will was spent
With wicked bites, the silk was torn
The spider’s fight, the millipedes’ scorn
The spider’s legs, once strong, now weak
Fought in vain as life grew bleak
The millipedes did not relent
Their hunger cold, their purpose bent
A final thrash, a muffled scream
The spider’s life, the millipedes’ dream
The web now broken, soaked in red
The tree stood still, the spider dead

An insect horror story. Loved the rhyme that kept in bouncing along and especially loved it because there is one less spider to deal with. 😉😉
What an insect poem hooray for the millipeds for that spider looked fierce for I do not like many spiders. Good job.
Wow, what a captivating poem, you always surprise us!!!
