Within the walls of my inner space
A kingdom thrives, with a careful pace,
A monarch reigns, with a gentle hand
Guiding my thoughts, through a turbulent land.

The horses of passion, they buck and they sway
But I hold the reins, come what may,
The winds of desire, they howl and they whip
But I stand firm, like a mountain's grip.

The siren's song, it echoes through my mind
But I resist its call, and leave it behind,
The tempting treats, they dance before my eyes
But I choose my path, with a wise surprise.
***
I am the master, of my inner domain
I rule with kindness, and a gentle refrain,
I am the guardian, of my heart and my soul
I keep the peace, and make my spirit whole.
