Be prepared. - Scar, the Lion King

*******************************************************

You traced the road in blackened pens,

Each path guarded, end to end

Yet winds do blow, they never cease

Rain carves paths that will not decrease

*******************************************************

The tracks were blocked, plans came apart

The skies turned grey when you were to start

Although you stumble, your feet betray,

You find paths unseen along the way.

*******************************************************

So pack your bags, and spare the fuss,

A rope for steep cliffs if you must

For fate rewrites, and paths do turn

But if prepared, you'll walk and learn

    <3 beautifully inspiring

  • The way the journey unfolds, both literally and metaphorically, really resonated with me. There's a sense of inevitability yet also discovery in every line. Well done!"
