The Many Roots of Life
Which speaks to you the most?

The many roots of life bind us.

Haiku 1 ā Physical Roots
Roots shatter cement
Tiny shoots split cement
Sprouting in dim corners
šæ
Haiku 2 ā Emotional Roots
Tangled roots still breathe
Memories peek through the soil
Feelings buried deep
šæ
Haiku 3 ā Ancestral Roots
Roots of stories lost
Grandpa's heart in a tree knot
Hidden love now seen
šæ
Haiku 4 ā Technological/Network Roots
Vines below now speak
Data crawling like fungus
Unseen links hold life
šæ
Haiku 5 ā Cosmic/Metaphorical Roots
Roots try to grasp stars
They tangle with lost time
Small vines scale the world
šæ
Haiku 6 ā Uprooted/Breaking Free of Roots
Roots pulled up now float
Moving now to fertile soil
Regrowing with space

Brilliantly-crafted! I resonated with physical, emotional and ancestral roots the most!
I like your unique approach to the challenge with this one and the observations of the various roots that influence us.
What a beautiful collection of haiku. I love how you explore roots from so many angles.
Some wonderful observations in these haiku(s). I never know what the plural form is
Whoaaaa, these Haikus were so creative and profound. This was my favourite line: "Data crawling like fungus"
