Me and the man she loves aren't the same man, love went and broke my heart again. A woman will do wrong for the man she loves, and as the fool that's in his way, she breaks my heart again. What more must I do to be the man you love to? What else must I give, please my love let me live.
She ran away while looking back, and I grabbed her before she crashed. Just a fool looking for love wanted to get my chance. Fixed up her broken wings taught her what she was worth. Gave her my every dream, cause lord knows I put my woman first.
Her heart kept leading away, thought my love could make her stay. The harder I loved the farther she would stray. She begged me to fight when I said go away and stay, I brought her right back thinking I won, but didn't know the game just begun. While I thought her love was mine, the man she loved was being taught at the expense of mine.
She loves to control my love forever more, although she says she loves me no more. She knew my love was never hers to have, but she says wait and don't fall in love, cause you never know if the moon will call our love. Right now I have no space or time for you, don't guilt me with all your going through...
Sorry but the man I love is just not you.
