Old pain fades, as Tomorrow wakes me with the sunrise.
Now I know to stop looking back, but it wasn't easy.
Thought that yesterday swindled so many years from me.
It held the stakes of my pain, I stagnated on it.
I admit, when Tomorrow first decided I deserved better;
My eyes only glimpsed, I knew Yesterday, Tomorrow's beauty didn't offset its unfamiliarity.
Yesterday was only the hurt I wouldn't release, so I stalled on today, everyday.
When Tomorrow finally caught my eye, I did think of Yesterday.
Tomorrow's love is nourishing,
Today I didn't perish for Tomorrow's hope.
Yesterday has lost my heart, which is now,
Tomorrow's love.
