The Man in the Cake Shop

Spreading germs as he sneezes loudly

The Man in the Cake Shop

The man in the cake shop served me.

I smiled and pointed with care.

A sponge with cream and cherries.

The best one sitting there.

He lifted it up with pride.

He held it under my nose.

But just as he reached for the box.

A mighty sneeze arose.

It sprayed across the sponge.

The cream went flying wide.

A cherry bounced off the counter.

And landed by my side.

I gasped and stepped back quickly.

My appetite did die.

I said no thanks I’m leaving.

And waved the cake goodbye.

I left the shop shaking my head.

Some cakes are not meant to be.

Next time I will just pass by,

Letting his germs spread freely.

What a story and hopefully this really doesn't always happen, but it could. Good job.
