The Magic of Innocence
A Poem Celebrating Childhood Wonder
Childhood, oh childhood, a time of such joy,
A world of wonder, without a decoy,
With eyes that sparkle, and hearts that sing,
Where every moment is a precious thing.
The magic of childhood, it knows no bounds,
A world of discovery, without any mounds,
A time of innocence, where we believe,
That anything is possible, if we just conceive.
We run and play, without any care,
Our imaginations, taking us anywhere,
We dance with the stars, and talk to the moon,
And in our minds, we are never too soon.
Oh, the joy of childhood, it fills our hearts,
And even when we're grown, it never departs,
For the memories we make, they last a lifetime,
And we cherish them dearly, like a fine wine.
So let us hold on to the magic of youth,
And remember the times, when we were uncouth,
For in those moments, we were truly free,
And we saw the world, with eyes that could see.
