As summer fades and autumn nears,
The world transforms before our eyes,
The air grows crisp, the breeze cools down,
And nature puts on its grand disguise.
The leaves that once were green and lush,
Now turn to shades of red and gold,
They flutter gently in the wind,
As if they're telling stories untold.
The trees, now bare, stand tall and proud,
A sight that's both stark and serene,
Their branches reaching towards the sky,
As if they're reaching for a dream.
The sun still shines, but with less warmth,
A sign that winter's soon to come,
But in this moment, we embrace,
The beauty of the season's sum.
For as the leaves fall to the ground,
And crunch beneath our feet with sound,
We're reminded of the constant change,
That in this world, we're all bound.
So let us cherish these autumn days,
And the colors that they bring,
For in their fleeting beauty,
We can find joy in everything.
