The Love's Ebb and Flow

A Poetic Journey Through the Ups and Downs of Relationship.

By Tamseela FarooqPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

At first, love was all around,
Your partner's affection knew no bounds,
Texts were sent with care and speed,
Every word a love-filled deed.

But gradually, things began to change,
Attention waned, priorities rearranged,
Texts went unanswered, calls ignored,
Your heart, once full, now felt ignored.

You tried to speak up, to make a plea,
But your partner's love had flown free,
Leaving you alone with your pain,
Wondering how it all could change.

The nights grew long, the days grew cold,
Your heart, once warm, now felt so old,
The love that once shone so bright,
Had faded into the darkest night.

But don't despair, my dear, for love will come,
Stronger and brighter than the setting sun,
Someone who will love you true,
And give you all the attention that's due.
