The loom and fabric of time

Our lives being spun unseen beyond unseen time

By Novel AllenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
Time shrouded in mystery

Somewhere beyond a time glimpsed, a time poignantly poised

Mystically woven threads spin continuously with life's rhythm

Spun by the sages, seen by seers, those we think mad and oddly off

The ones we lock away, not understanding their third eye 'seeing'

The ones who see beyond the mortal veil of this world, brightly

Truly they see the majestically magical things which we ignore

We, who open not, nor use our third eye gift to see the truth

We see not the moments as they tick by...tick.....tick.....tick...

Where the unseen spinners of time spin....spin....spin....spin...

They spin the threads of a loom which determines our destiny

They decide the numbered years of our lives which we accrue

They ascribe to each life the day, minute or hour of our existence

They weave the threads so very skillfully, entwining our frail souls

They design the matted fabrics of our divinely given existence

Upon the loom that measures our many loves, dreams, hopes, sins

Live lives still to be lived, should be lived within each given moment

For the unseen spinners of the loom spin on, the threads never stopping

Life is an odd dance of 'spin the bottle', when will the little betraying spout

Point, spin and stop in front of you, as you fight to the last tiring breath

To hold on tight to this relentless thing called life, yours to savor and enjoy

Every day you awaken, ready to carpe diem a new day, grab, seize the day

Is another day you win the eternal fight against the turn of the loom!

Time, it is said waits not for any mortal soul, oh to be counted immortal

Who decides the extent of our mortal coil?

Carpe diem!
