The Little Seed That Wouldn't Give Up

A Poem About Patience, Growth, and Believing in Yourself

By Muhammad SohailPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Poem:

In a garden full of color and light,

Lived a tiny seed tucked out of sight.

Others grew tall, reaching the sky,

While the little seed whispered, “Why not I?”

“I’ve tried to grow,” the seed would say,

“But I don’t bloom like they do each day.”

The sun beamed down, the rain would fall,

Still the seed stayed hidden, small.

One day a breeze came soft and sweet,

And whispered, “Patience, don’t accept defeat.

You’re not too late, you’re just not done—

Some flowers bloom slower, one by one.”

So the seed held on and tried again,

Pushing through dirt, through sun and rain.

And one bright dawn, without a sound,

It broke the soil and saw the ground.

A sprout, then stem, then leaves so wide,

It stood at last, full of pride.

And children came from far and near

To cheer the flower they now held dear.

Moral of the Story:

Everyone grows at their own pace. Be patient, keep trying, and never give up—your time will come.
