I can't resist if

I'm a greater young lady,

I'm "too huge",

My hair's not adequately long,

My skin not pale enough,

I'm not adequately brilliant.

I can't resist if

I don't talk adequately legitimate,

I use words like ain't and dat,

Say "my terrible" and not "sorry",

"What dat's identity is?" rather than "what's her name?"

I can't resist if

I utilize vivid words

To portray individuals.

I can't resist if

I didn't grow up with

My folks together.

Assuming I have 9 half-kin.

I can't resist if

I don't utilize enormous words.

Like subordinate or soothing.

Or then again even form.

Please accept my apologies that I can't be this ideal picture

That society makes for us.

I'm satisfying my character

Also, who I am as a person.

For what reason mightn't we at any point be what our identity is?

I won't change who I am

To fit anyones needs or

To accommodate their perspectives on me.

I can't resist if

I love myself more than

I need to satisfy your childish requests.
