The Lemon Tree
In the garden, a tree stands,
Bright green leaves on leafy hands.
When spring comes, the flowers bloom,
Sweet smell fills up the room.
Lemons grow, shiny and round,
Hanging low, they can be found.
Tart and juicy, full of zest,
Squeeze them in, they are the best.
Here’s to the tree, strong and neat,
In its shade, I find my seat.
With every fruit, it gifts to me,
Nature’s joy, the lemon tree!
