The last Noel

Had a tale to tell

A tale of Christmas woe

…..

Late he came

To a manger of fame

Where baby lay sleeping so

…..

He told the tale

Of humanities fail

Of a death painful and sad

…..

Wisemen cursed him

With vigor and vim

Pronouncing his tidings mad

…..

Noel cried a slow sad tear

Filling Mary’s heart with fear

But he told her all was fine

…..

Her son this world would save

Giving his all in a manner brave

Remembered in sacramental wine

…..

A gift of wisdom Noel did give

Sacrifices made for others to live

Then kissed the baby’s cheek

…..

To Mary and Joseph he said be brave

From sin humanity Jesus would save

By love would evil be made weak
