The Last

Poem by D.M. Napier

By D.m. NapierPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

The days were bright

didn't realize there could be night

Everyone's a dark knight

The darkest shades comes from our knights

Turning on protection

We still don't learn our lesson

It's unfair, protest and you're taken out the share

I know I don't understand, how could I?

I'm still lost in direction

Don't say I'll be alright, unless you'll be my guiding light

Guide me to a separation, I got to split all the way in half

Take the negativity that gets in my way, and put it in a vase. Lock it up like I'm performing the Kami Seal Wave. It's sealed now I'll wave it away. There still no time to play, I got acts to play and positivity is foreign. The time limit is lowering, and I'm still lower than where I'm suppose to be. I've been grinding and taking it easy, but now I got to double my productivity. I'm skilled in one activity, and it'll be my come up. Wait and see, there's no time to be lazy. We got dreams that need to be achieved. I'm not going to stop; I'm making opportunities, learning from my failings, then climbing back up til I reach the peak. I won't say a peep, concentration is key. I'm practicing like Gon, and soon this life style will be gone. I'm hunting for some joy, and writing will be my pass. When I regret my actions, have to remember the mission. Not a murderer but I've killed my passion, and became jumbled up like a kid's lost figures of action. It was my whole clan, we had a whole plan. Now we're lost and staring where we stand. Everyone in this come up is important, even my people in the past. Some didn't last, some came up fast, everyone will have a blast once I make it there. Cause this year is the last that I do nothing.
