each occlusion is opportunity
celestial realms offer opaque shrouds for inner work to commence
lamentations may persist beneath this veil and
intensity of travail consumes all
pre-empts existence with exertion levels threatening tachycardia—but no—it’s your
season/stimulant/stabilization/ ‘sun-soon-to-be-unblocked'—just take
ease now and bide this tide…it will end
Author's Note:
This one sat unpublished for months. A "casualty" of the Vocal Eclipse Challenge held earlier this year. Not all of my poems make it to the outside world.
But I reread it and thought how poignant and transfer-applicable this would be to share as we live side-by-side in a world engulfed by unprecedented difficulties. Such trying circumstances often feel neverending, but we can take some comfort in the truth that every beginning will have an end.
So keep hope. Keep life. Keep love.

This piece is all about riding out those tough moments like an eclipse—intense, but knowing it’ll pass and things will clear up soon! A cool reminder to hang in there. A great balance of energy and calm! 😊✨
